Udinese-Roma, surprise guest in the stands
Surprise guest at Dacia Arena
On the occasion of Udinese-Roma, a match valid for the fifth day of Serie A, won by the hosts 4-0, there was an unexpected guest in the stands of the Dacia Arena.
It was Gareth Southgate, coach of the England national team, who was present at the stadium to closely follow his players, Smalling and Abraham, who left early due to a shoulder injury.
“I was very impressed by Udinese, who press high and leave no outlet for Roma’s game: they are really a strong team,” admitted the coach of the Three Lions national team, at the microphones of Udinese TV.
Then Southgate extolled the facility of the Bianconeri club, owned by Giampaolo Pozzo, who also controls Premier League club Watford: “The stadium is fantastic and the hospitality is beautiful. Congratulations indeed.”
