Napoli-Liverpool, Spalletti is clear about using Osimhen
The partenopei coach appeared confident for the Champions League match against Liverpool
On the eve of the big match against Liverpool, Napoli coach Luciano Spalletti spoke in a press conference about the physical condition of the Nigerian center forward: “Osimhen had this discomfort yesterday so zero training yesterday, differentiated training today and training with the group tomorrow morning. Having two days available it was useful to make this transition. Tomorrow he will try to kick and do something stronger and if the responses are as good as today he will be able to play.”
The Tuscan coach added, “Lozano is available, he had more tests yesterday and this morning he did all the training with the group.”
Spalletti then encouraged the team to believe in the feat: “Would I sign for a draw? We should limit the mistakes seen with Lazio, we went there with the intention of winning. We are returning to the Champions League and one of the most representative teams is there, we will give our best for a performance up to the mark and above all we must not go on the field of collecting compliments. We have to go on the field with the conviction that we can win the game.”
