Foggia returns to triumph in Misano

“It was a tribute to Simoncelli, who celebrated winning the 250 World Championship in this way. It was fantastic to win for the third time in Misano, on the circuit named after him.” Interviewed by ‘Il Messaggero’ Dennis Foggia explained why the airplane-like exultation after the triumph in Romagna.

“This year we struggle against the Ktms. In Misano I felt a bit like Quartararo when he has to fight against so many Ducatis. Fortunately, although I was always on the limit, I was able to make the difference on the last lap. I am very happy with the move to Moto2 together with Italtrans Racing Team, one of the most competitive teams. Pressure? No, because I have nothing to lose. First, however, after last year’s second place, the goal of these last months is to win the title in Moto3,” added the Roman centaur.
