Jannik Sinner makes Angelo Binaghi dream big
The words of Angelo Binaghi
The qualification for the Davis Cup finals that came a day early mirrors the golden moment of Italian men’s tennis. And it anticipates a month of November with four major events that will see Italy as a protagonist: the Billie Jean King Cup (former Fed Cup) and Davis Cup finals, the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen Finals in Milan, the tournament with the best eight Under 21 players, and the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin with the eight best players and eight best doubles pairs to do battle.
Italian Tennis Federation President Angelo Binaghi is proud of the Azzurri and the enthusiasm that accompanies them, in Bologna for Davis and beyond.
“To Volandri and this national team what more can you say than bravo? As with the girls ten years ago, but maybe even more, we have not only great tennis players but perfect boys. And this for us is a pleasure and a great honor, it means that Italian tennis through us has done something good in these years,” Binaghi told Francesca Paoletti in an interview for SuperTenniX.
