Liverani wants to forget defeat against Mignani’s men
Cagliari is coming off a home defeat against Michele Mignani’s Bari, who stormed the Unipol Domus in the Serie B big match valid for the sixth day of the cadet championship.
The coach of the island team, Fabio Liverani, wants to make the most of the national team break to resume the race toward promotion.
In the coming days, the Rossoblù coach will be able to work with a small group of players, from which Lapadula (Peru), Makoumbou (Congo), Obert (Slovak Under-21), Kourfalidis (Greek Under-21) and the two Primavera players Palomba (Italian Under-20) and Griger (Slovak Under-19), who are engaged with their respective national teams, will be missing.
Cagliari’s championship will resume on Oct. 1, when Liverani’s men host another serious contender for Serie A: Venezia.
