Inter, Simone Inzaghi must answer on the field: date set
Inzaghi must provide convincing results by the World Cup break
The mood is not serene at Inter Milan after the third league defeat, suffered against Andrea Sottil’s Udinese.
Although the start of the season has not been as hoped, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi cannot yet be considered at risk, according to ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’.
However, one should not believe that the Nerazzurri management’s patience will be endless. In fact, the former Lazio coach will have to respond on the field to ward off rumors of a possible exoneration, and he will have to do so by the World Cup break, when a first assessment of the former Italian champions’ season will be drawn.
Inzaghi will then have until mid-November to try to change the mentality of the Milanese team, which no longer seems able to react in moments of difficulty, and to offer convincing performances that will convince fans and managers.
