Blown opportunity for Valentino Rossi in Valencia, in the penultimate round of the GT World Challenge Europe: the Doctor, still in the hunt for his first podium in the championship, was forced to retire due to some mechanical problems that happened to his Audi.

The rider from Tavullia said he was “frustrated” by what had happened, but to cheer him up came the compliments of his teammate, Fréderic Vervisch: “Valentino’s excellent qualifying session should be highlighted, as he is making great strides in this crucial aspect. We had the potential to do much more in the race, and we hope to show it in the last round of the season in Barcelona.”
