Pisa, exonerated Rolando Maran: replacement already chosen
Maran was not satisfied with a draw at home to Venezia
Pisa has made official the dismissal of Rolando Maran. The Nerazzurri, through their Twitter profile, thus confirmed the end of the relationship with the former coach of Genoa and Cagliari among others, who collected only two points in the first six days of the championship.
“The Pisa Sporting Club announces that it has relieved Mr. Rolando Maran from the position of Head Coach of the First Team. The club extends its thanks to the technician, together with his staff, for the professional work carried out together with the wish for the best of luck in the continuation of his career,” reads the note from the Tuscan club.
The task of raising the Nerazzurri team has been entrusted to Luca D’Angelo, the protagonist of last year’s ride, which ended with the playoff final lost to Monza.
“The Pisa Sporting Club announces that it has entrusted the position of Head Coach of the First Team to Mr. Luca D’Angelo, who will be presented to the press on Wednesday, September 21, at the ‘Passaponti’ press room at the Arena Garibaldi,” the Pisa statement continues.
