Genoa, market clash on the horizon for a luxury free agent
Market clash on the horizon for the Griffin
Despite the fact that the soccer market closed on Sept. 1, Genoa could try to further strengthen its offensive department so that the squad at Alexander Blessin’s disposal can more strongly aspire to an immediate rise in Serie A.
Among the free agents, there is one name that would seem to suit the Rossoblù club: it is Simone Zaza, in the last Serie A with the Torino shirt.
The former Sassuolo and Juventus striker, among others, could be a factor in the cadet league, but the Ligurian club is not the only club that looks interested in the 1991-class player.
In fact, on Zaza’s trail there would also be Attilio Tesser’s Modena, especially because of the difficult start in Serie B where, after six days, he occupies the third-last place in the standings and, above all, is among the worst attackers in the cadet league, with six goals scored.
