Grazulis explains why he chose Trent
Grazulis introduces itself
Presentation day for Andrejs Grazulis. “I chose Trento because in talking with Coach Molin I appreciated his ideas of basketball and the vision he had for me and the team,” he said. “The chance to play such an important European cup as the EuroCup certainly helped; I can’t wait to get involved in this new context.
“This year’s team – added the Latvian -? We may not be the group with the most physical size, but we have a lot of qualities that can make us hard to beat: for sure it will be crucial for us to have a high-level season from the point of view of the team’s defensive contribution.”
“Italy? It is a country where I fit in very well, and here in Trento my family and I have immediately settled in great: the city is beautiful, the Le Albere neighborhood is a great place to live. We’re training a lot, but I’m looking forward to discovering more of the neighborhood. The experience in the national team? It’s always a great thrill. Porzingis? It’s one thing to see him on TV, but live he’s even more impressive for his physical and technical means: having him as a teammate solves several problems,” Grazulis’ summation.
