MotoGp, Enea Bastianini’s dad makes a prediction about the dualism with Pecco Bagnaia
Bastianini’s dad’s prediction on the dualism with Bagnaia in Ducati
Emilio Bastianini, Enea’s dad, spoke on the MotoG podcast about his son’s incredible season, with a look at the final sprint for the championship.
“The first victory in Qatar I watched it from home on TV, but it was something stellar. What might happen I don’t think about it, but I clearly believe in it. All I know is that Enea is enjoying himself, he has a competitive bike, he is well physically and mentally, and with the team he is very well. I often think about what Fausto Gresini would say if he were still alive and could share this beautiful and unique thing,” he explained.
Emilio Bastianini then wanted to recount all the obstacles he went through for Enea to land in the MotoGP: “People can’t imagine the sacrifices my wife and I made, for ten years we never went to eat even a pizza, Of money we wanted a lot, but we had a hard time saying no. And seeing his commitment and will was the strength of my wife and I that led us to go into debt. The day we were in the World Cup, we looked at each other and asked, ‘But how did we get here?’ almost in disbelief.”
Then a reflection on the possible dualism in Ducati, where Enea will race starting next season, with Bagnaia: “He and Pecco are the two cocks, but they get along well. Then may the best man win, for sure they will have a great bike and they will be the two protagonists.”
