F1 Ferrari, Mattia Binotto warns Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz
Ferrari team principal Binotto: “I want more wins from them, they are the best pair in Formula 1.”
Ferrari team principal Mattia Binotto on stage at the Trento Festival dwelt on his drivers Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz: “I would like more victories from them. I say it: it’s the best pair that exists in F1. Just because of the way they get along with each other and the contribution they make, the way they help each other.”
“I also see it during the sessions,” the Maranello executive continued, “during the race weekends. When we discuss on Friday or Saturday, after practice, what one feels and what the other feels, a completely open exchange takes place. Both know that improving our car and our team means, basically, trying to beat the others. The missed opportunities? Between having a competitive car and the ability to know how to materialize every opportunity there is another step to take.”
