Jorge Lorenzo’s father: “Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez the dirtiest drivers I’ve ever seen.”

Chicho Lorenzo, the father of three-time MotoGp world champion Jorge Lorenzo, spared no barbs against his son’s two strongest rivals, Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez.

“As I’ve said before, I think Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez were the dirtiest riders I’ve ever seen,” are the words uttered in an interview with Nico Abad on Twicht. “Rossi used to try off-track strategies when he knew he wasn’t the fastest, but in 2015 my son managed to beat him despite all his ploys.

Chicho Lorenzo also has it in for Marc Marquez: “In Jerez in 2013 he rammed my son, an action that cost him a championship in retrospect. Also in Aragon, after a year of injuries, he ruined his race and Jorge ended up in the hospital with a broken ankle.”
