MotoGp, Luca Marini is surprised by his performance

The driver of the Mooney VR46 Racing Team did not expect it

Mooney VR46 rider Luca Marini, spoke to the team’s official channels after the first free practice session at Japan’s Motegi circuit, which saw the Italian finish in fifth place, just one tenth behind the best: Ducatista Jack Miller.

“I’m very satisfied with this first session in Motegi, I didn’t expect to be immediately there with the very first ones, only one tenth from the first position, for being my first time with MotoGp. There’s really a lot to do, it’s been three years since we’ve ridden here, and we’ve made great strides on electronics and tires these seasons. We are trying to figure out where to intervene, what to do for another leap forward tomorrow and to improve for the race. The weather will be crucial: if it doesn’t rain we can continue to work more nimbly in view of the race,” explained a satisfied Luca Marini.
