Inter’s performance is objectively below expectations: the Nerazzurri are currently seventh in the league on 12 points, the result of four wins and as many as three defeats (against Lazio, Milan and Udinese).

Simone Inzaghi has obviously ended up in the crosshairs of several fans, but for Javier Zanetti the former Lazio helmsman is not in question: “Always there has been trust on Inzaghi, the merits are never of one person. There is a group that has very clear objectives and we are all going in the same direction,” he told TMW.

“Inter raises being aware of our strength. We have to be a resilient, humble team, and then it will depend on our ability to be protagonists because I am convinced that the conditions are there for us to be able to do so,” Javier Zanetti concluded.
