Marc Marquez raises alarm despite pole position

Marc Marquez crossed the finish line ahead of everyone in qualifying for the Japanese GP in Motegi: “A pole that motivates us so much ahead of tomorrow’s race, for me it’s very important. I’m very happy, it’s just a pole but now everything is important. It serves as a stimulus for us, tomorrow will be different with dry conditions,” he told Sky Sports.

“I drove well, in the past I did well in the wet but today is the first time I drive the way I want. Today it’s like that, it’s just a pole that has a very important value. In the dry I certainly would not have taken the first or second row, maybe I would have been between third and fourth.”

“Tomorrow many drivers will be in front of us if it’s dry, we’ll see. The wet helped me a lot, now I hope the strength can come in the dry as well. I’m still not in good shape, I’m far from the form of the past and far from what I want for my right arm. Zarco? I took off late and went outside, we talked about it and explained,” Marquez concluded.
