Jannik Sinner is ready to defend his title in the Atp 250 Sofia, scheduled starting next Monday in Bulgaria. The South Tyrolean tennis player, who has won the last two editions, is number one on the draw and favored: after a pass in the first round he will face Portugal’s Nuno Borges, or a qualifier, in the round of 16.

So two derbies are possible for the Italian: in the quarterfinals he could face Fabio Fognini, who is in contention with Wawrinka, Verdasco and Basilashvili, while in the semifinals could come a confrontation with Lorenzo Sonego, who is playing the Metz final today.
