MotoGp, Ducati acquits Pecco Bagnaia
Bagnaia’s crash in the Japan GP finale does not shake Ducati’s confidence in the Piedmontese rider
Pecco Bagnaia’s fall in the finale of the MotoGp Japanese Grand Prix does not shake Ducati’s confidence in him. “What do I think about Pecco’s mistake? He did well to try, that’s the spirit of champions,” Gigi Dall’Igna told Sky. “If I had been in his place I would have tried too. Jack Miller deserved this success, he had a fantastic race.”
Davide Tardozzi at BT Sport also tried to move beyond Pecco’s mistake: “He already said he was sorry for the mistake he made. He was not able to accelerate out of corners like the other Ducatis. We need to know why. His front tire overheated, so he couldn’t brake hard. Since Aragon, we have been looking at Fabio every week. Losing two points is better than losing eight points,” he admitted.
