MotoGp, Marc Marquez makes big voice: “It hasn’t happened in a long time…”
Marc Marquez hit a stunning fourth place in the MotoGp Japan GP
A fourth place that tastes like victory for Marc Marquez in Japan. In the second race since his return to MotoGp, the Catalan rider lifted the ailing Honda to near the very top in a race conducted without dips from start to finish.
The eight-time world champion is especially happy about the state of his arm that has been operated on several times: “I’m happy, result aside, because it’s the first time in a long time that I didn’t feel pain in my arm. I’m tired, but I didn’t feel any pain. The problem, in the past, is that I had pain in the last laps, and it was difficult. Even now I don’t feel it, the arm is normal, and so I’m happy about that.”
Marquez also managed to attack Oliveira in the race finale: “I put the soft behind because my goal at the beginning was to push, but I had a problem on the first lap. Apart from that everything else went perfectly, the bike went well and the pace was consistent. The most important thing is that I attacked Oliveira at the end; I felt it, and that hadn’t happened in a long time. The team did a great job all weekend.”
