Hopes are growing for a return to the field in the big match.

Paulo Dybala had to miss the match Roma played (and lost) at the Stadio Olimpico against Atalanta before the break for national team commitments. This did not prevent him from reaching Argentina’s training camp, although he will not be available against Honduras. His recovery, however, should be close.

‘La Joya’ continues to be one of the players in training camp with Argentina, but according to ‘Il Corriere della Sera’ he will return to Italy on Thursday and then join Roma. The Giallorossi club’s plan, therefore, is to subject him regularly to Friday’s training to assess his condition. The goal is to have him already on the field against Inter.

Clearly Jose Mourinho will have to rely on the striker’s responses in the only training session available to him, but the feeling is that the problem is less insurmountable than expected. Dybala, in other words, should at least be available for Roma’s lineup against Inter.
