Livio Suppo happy to give Danilo Petrucci a chance
Suppo welcomes Petrucci
Livio Suppo, Suzuki’s navigated manager, spoke about the decision to give Danilo Petrucci the bike that Joan Mir will not be able to pilot in Thailand.
“Unfortunately, after a new MRI, the doctors have confirmed that Joan’s situation is improving but not enough to allow him to race in Buriram,” the former Honda man told us. “Therefore, the boy will continue to work to be fit for Phillip Island. He will be replaced by Danilo Petrucci. We thank Ducati for allowing him to take this opportunity. We know that Danilo is a “feather in their cap” for them and we really appreciate their gesture, it shows that passion and the will to understand are more important than anything else in our sport. So we welcome Danilo to our team, we will do our best to make this weekend unforgettable for him.”
