Cyclist Jonathan Milan spoke to the official channels of Team Bahrain Victorious after his big win in the first stage of the Tour of Croatia.

The young Italian won at the end of a great sprint and commented on his first career road win this way, “I can’t believe I did it! This is something incredible. I had a difficult first part of the season and I have been looking for this victory for a long time. I came close a month ago at the Tour of Poland and then at the Tour of Germany. I was always on the podium but never on the top step. I wanted the win and I wanted to have it here because this CRO Race is very important for us. I felt very good today and my legs were strong! I think the team also did a fantastic job. Everyone gave their 100 percent. I am super proud of everyone and I am so happy about that! So thank you to everyone and tomorrow I want to try again.”
