Honda centaur puts his hands up

Eight-time world champion Marc Marquez is coming off an excellent weekend in Motegi in which he scored pole position and fourth place in the race on his return to the track.

The Spanish rider, in words reported by Motorsport.com, spoke ahead of the upcoming weekend: the one that will see MotoGp stop in Thailand, more precisely at the Buriram circuit.

“The goal for the weekend in Buriram is to put everything together, to have another weekend like we managed to do in Japan,” Marquez admitted.

But then the Honda bearer specified how the Thai circuit does not suit his bike as well as the Japanese one: “Clearly I would like to fight for the first positions as it happened in Motegi, but I don’t think it’s realistic to set that kind of goal for this weekend.”

“Also, being forced to the front is not a current goal of ours. We are here, going to Buriram, to continue building. I have very good memories of 2018 and 2019, especially in the last season when we raced and I am looking forward to coming back and feeling the affection of the fans once more,” concluded the centaur.
