Ettore Messina admits the disappointment of seeing Olimpia Milano miss the landing in the Supercoppa final, after the overtime knockout accrued with Virtus Bologna. In fact, the ‘Black Vu’ imposed themselves with a score of 72-64, after the 59-59 with which the fourth period had ended had made overtime necessary.

“It’s not possible to go home happy after a game like that,” Messina admitted. “Now we just hope to reset everything. In the disappointment of seeing the team play poorly, there is one good thing. To know that we can tie our shoes again and understand that we have a season ahead of us that will still be very long.”
