Danilo Petrucci, bitter words about Ducati and Andrea Dovizioso

Danilo Petrucci: “I was hired to be a squire.”

Danilo Petrucci looks forward to the weekend in Thailand and his return to MotoGp. The Terni centaur, back from his commitments in MotoAmerica, where he finished in second place in the standings, is counting on making a good impression on the Suzuki: “It will be a very difficult mission, starting with the position on the saddle, the hand control, the thumb brake that is not there… But the rain can give me a hand. I have no expectations, the goal is to finish, have fun.”

Petrucci sees Ducati and Pecco Bagnaia as favorites: “He has shown impressive form and has a very fast bike. And he can count on the data of seven other brand mates to find the best set-up, instead Quartararo is alone to fight.”

According to Danilo, things in Ducati have changed from the past: “I was chosen as Andrea Dovizioso’s squire so that he could win the World Championship and avoid the clash that there had been with Iannone. Now they have chosen two spikes. I only regret that when I was at the top I clashed with the best Honda and the best Marquez ever…. In the middle of the season the World Championship was already decided.”
