MotoGp, Marc Marquez increasingly restless: Bradl explains why
“Marc Marquez knows he is about to turn 30, he still has two or three seasons ahead of him.”
Honda tester Stefan Bradl in an interview with Speedweek spoke about Marc Marquez and his strong criticism of the Japanese team after the latest tests. “He’s about to turn 30 and he knows he still has two or three good seasons ahead of him, so he wants a winning bike, he has stressed that several times.”
“In Valencia he didn’t see the big steps forward he expected. He has had four operations on his arm, he is aware of his condition and is now asking for clear measures from HRC. The balance has changed in the last two or three years and the competition is stronger. Ducati has made great strides and MotoGp has changed,” the German centaur continued.
“Marquez can’t exploit his strengths, he has to risk too much me he knows he can’t take those risks anymore to develop the bike. As long as nothing happened to him, accidents didn’t worry him but now it’s different. He has tolerated a lot, but he is not getting any younger.”
