Novak Djokovic at Australian Open: Jannik Sinner vouches for him
Important words about a colleague he now knows very well.
Jannik Sinner dwelt on Novak Djokovic in an interview granted to the Australian newspaper ‘The Age,’ in which he praised the Serb while also stating that he was extremely happy to find him again at the Australian Open a year after his stop for the non-vaccination affair.
“With Djokovic I’ve been training with him, and I’ve been able to see firsthand how good he is,” Sinner said. “He wants to win, you can see it, and it’s impossible not to notice his determination. I don’t know him very well, but I’m sure of his extreme motivation to do well at the Australian Open.”
“To have him back here in Australia is very good. And I’m happy that he will take part in the Australian Open again, because I consider him among the best players in the world. In fact, maybe he is the best ever. And to be able to play equal against him and beat him you need to put your best tennis on the court,” Sinner concluded.
