A terrible tragedy shook the world of sports and motorsports in particular on the Italian night between Monday and Tuesday: Ken Block died, aged only 55, from injuries sustained after a serious snowmobile accident in Utah.
Block, known to fans for his rally car stunts, was near Woodland at the time of the accident. According to reports from the Wasatch County Sheriff’s Office, the California-born racer and stuntman was riding down a steep slope when he lost control of the vehicle, which flipped over and crashed into him, causing his death instantly.

And, most importantly, a husband and father. We will miss him incredibly.” The team then asked for respect for the privacy of Ken Block’s family at this time of great sorrow.
