The Monza coach spoke after the draw with Fiorentina: “I misread some situations.”

Unprecedented mea culpa for Monza coach Raffaele Palladino in the press conference after the draw against Fiorentina: “Before we got to halftime there is a time when we made a mistake due to my demerit, I say it publicly. I put the team in trouble by misreading some situations, I apologized to the guys. I thank them, those who were there in the first half sacrificed and committed themselves 100 percent. Credit also to Fiorentina, they are a strong and fearsome team, which is physically well.”

In the second half the team grew: “I adjusted the team a bit, with two trequartisti between the lines and an adjustment to the left chain. With more width we put Fiorentina in trouble, it was a one-half game each.”

Petagna’s mistake: “They can happen to everyone and I don’t judge. He was a bit regretful that he came to me, I told him the goal will come. Andrea was great today and not only him, but all those who took over in the second half, were able to change the inertia of the game.”
