A surprise call for Zinedine Zidane.
There is the United States in Zinedine Zidane’s future
According to L’Equipe reports, the United States has reportedly identified Zinedine Zidane as the possible next coach. The Frenchman is highly regarded in the U.S. and could continue Gregg Berhalter’s national team’s path of growth.
Zidane hopes one day to coach the French national team (which recently extended Didier Deschamps’ contract) and may decide to gain experience on the U.S. bench.
Raised in the youth ranks at Cannes, Zidane moved to Bordeaux in 1992. In 1996 he moved to Juventus in Italy, where he collected 24 goals in 151 appearances. The Frenchman later moved to Real Madrid where he played between 2001 and 2006. He was certainly one of the strongest players in history and with the French national team scored 31 goals in 108 games.
