Reggio Emilia loses Strautins: recovery times
The player suffered a muscle injury to the rectus femoris in his right leg
Reggio Emilia against Dinamo Sassari will have to do without Arturs Strautins, who following an injury that occurred in practice Thursday afternoon underwent instrumental examinations Friday morning.
“The MRI showed a muscle injury to the rectus femoris of the right leg. Strautins has already started the rehabilitation course and will have to stay in the pits for about three weeks,” is the club’s note.
These are the words on the eve of the challenge with the Sardinians of coach Dragan Sakota: “We face a team that in the last ten years has been among the best in the whole Italian scene, between results and continuity of performance. They have a great organization and a very experienced coach. Often, they express themselves better away than at home and this obviously can be a problem for us. Our situation is very clear: every game is a great challenge to improve the ranking and we have to face it with a very high level of preparation and attention to detail, as well as an equally remarkable desire to win. We are working to improve, on this path it is most important for us that the support of our fans comes to our aid. From the very beginning of the match, thanks to their energy, we want to have the right approach and start strong.”
