A wasted opportunity for Lazio, which had a chance to move to within one point of Inter Milan but got caught up by Empoli. Maurizio Sarri’s men went ahead in the 2nd minute through Felipe Anderson and doubled through Zaccagni in the 54th minute.

Caputo reopened the game in the 83rd minute and Marin completed the comeback in the dying minutes. In between, the biancocelesti had several chances to close out the match but failed to seal the third goal.
