Bad news for Torino and Ivan Juric: in fact in the match on Sunday, January 8, the granata side Valentino Lazaro left the field injured. On Monday, January 9, the Turin club announced the condition of the Austrian player, who will face a very long stop.
“The instrumental examinations to which Valentino Lazaro underwent today, post knee contusion-distortion injury during the Salernitana-Torino match, showed a high-grade injury of the medial collateral ligament of the right knee. Further clinical examinations will follow in the coming days,” reads the note released by Torino through its official channels.
The former Inter Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach player among others will most likely not be back at the Croatian coach’s disposal for at least two months.
