Ducati – Marc Marquez: Loris Capirossi is outspoken
Loris Capirossi: “Marc Marquez? To date Ducati does not need him but…”
Former Ducati rider Loris Capirossi in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport spoke about the hypothetical arrival of Marc Marquez in the red team: “Ducati does not need Marquez? If I look at today I would say that too. Pecco Bagnaia is the champion, Enea Bastianini the up-and-comer, and they have a lot of good riders. But with Marc you never know, if he fully recovers the question mark will not be him, but the bike that Honda will give him. It’s always a question of results. And now all the best riders would like to ride a Ducati.”
The Borgo Panigale stable dominated the last MotoGp World Championship: “After the complicated period of the 800 and the return to the 1000, Dovi gave a good hand and Gigi put his stamp on it. But it is not just the merit of one-two people: there is a whole team, the engineers, going up to Domenicali and not forgetting Pirro, who has done a great job.”
