The red and blue club has a dream for the midfield

Genoa is preparing to return to the pitch after the late December break: the Rossoblù will face Roma in the Coppa Italia on Thursday evening, Jan. 12, while on Monday, Jan. 16, they will take on Venezia in the Serie B Week 20 postponement.

Ahead of the upcoming engagements, the Grifone management is continuing to monitor the possibilities of making operations on the market. There are several departments for which Genoa is moving: defense first and foremost, in attack action will be taken only in the case of a departure, now unlikely, of Massimo Coda, and in the last few days leads have also emerged for the midfield.

The new name for Alberto Gilardino is New Zealand player Marko Stamenic, class of 2002: the Wellington-born midfielder is owned by Copenhagen, where he has returned after a year on loan to HB Koge, a club in the Danish second division. Despite his young age, the player has already graced important stages including the very prestigious one of the Champions League, where he made his debut on September 14 in the tie against Sevilla.
