At 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 12, Roma will face Genoa at the Stadio Olimpico in a match valid for the round of 16 of the Coppa Italia. The winner of the challenge will face whoever prevails in the eighth between Napoli and Cremonese.
Jose Mourinho could opt for a fairly large turnover as well, with Kumbulla, Bove and El Shaarawy among the starters. Possible debut from the first minute of the newcomer, the Norwegian striker just bought from Bodo Glimt Ola Solbakken, who is in the ballot with Tammy Abraham.
Genoa, which overcame Benevento in the 32nd and Spal in the round of 16, is expected to take the field with Alberto Gilardino’s starters, with the exception of the left flank, where one of Criscito and Czyborra will act, called upon to fill the void left by the injured Marko Pajac. Massimo Coda is confirmed in attack.
