Valentino Rossi, clear words on his future
Valentino Rossi commented on rumors of possible testing for the 24 Hours of Le Mans
Valentino Rossi on the sidelines of qualifying for the Dubai 24 Hours, where he is involved for the first time behind the wheel of a BMW, commented on the possibility of testing in the near future the M Hybrid V8 prototype, the car that will participate in the WEC and the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 2024.
“Le Mans is obviously one of the goals I have and I have never hidden that I would like to race it,” explained the Doctor, “but first of all I have to try to be fast and start fighting for the podium. Mainly that’s the thing I have to be able to do, then we’ll see.”
Valentino Rossi, who finished eighth in qualifying, explained the differences between the Audi he drove last year and the BMW: “These are pretty difficult cars to drive at the top and I still need to figure out some tricks to make a difference. Audi and BMV are very different, especially in terms of the engine because BMW has a turbo and Audi does not. Among other things on the M4 it is at the front, so the driving changes a lot. But I like the BMW and from a certain point of view it seems easier,” are the words reported by Motorsport.
