Several problems, for example, the Dutchman’s contract is expiring
From Spain comes a market rumor concerning Inter Milan and, in particular Correa. Barcelona would be ready for an exchange: Depay to the Nerazzurri, in exchange for the Argentine. The Dutchman, until now, has had no space in Xavi’s team and is looking to relaunch himself elsewhere. Same for the former Lazio striker.
The exchange would make both players happy but there would still be issues. First, Delay’s contract is expiring while Correa has an agreement with the Nerazzurri club until June 2025. Moreover, the salary that the Dutch striker receives at Barcelona is significantly higher than that of the Argentine. In short, an interesting but not easy transaction.
