F1, 2023 calendar made official: record number of GPs
There will be 23 race weekends in F1, never so many in a single season
There will be 23 race weekends in the 2023 F1 World Championship: this is an all-time record, coming despite the official cancellation (without replacement) of the Chinese Grand Prix, removed from the calendar due to Covid-related organizational difficulties.
In a brief note published on its official channels, Formula 1’s top management thus made known all the dates of the season, which we quote below:
– February 23-25 pre-season testing in Bahrain (Sakhir);
– March 5 Gp Bahrain (Sakhir);
– March 19 Gp Saudi Arabia (Jeddah);
– April 2 Gp Australia (Melbourne);
– April 30 Gp Azerbaijan (Baku);
– May 7 Gp Miami (Miami, Florida);
– May 21 Gp Emilia Romagna (Imola);
– May 28 Gp Monaco (Monte Carlo);
– June 4 Gp Spain (Barcelona);
– June 18 Gp canada (Montreal);
– July 2 Gp Austria (Spielberg);
– July 9 Gp UK (Silverstone);
– July 23 Gp Hungary (Budapest);
– July 30 Gp Belgium (Spa);
– August 27 Gp Netherlands (Zandvoort);
– September 3 Gp Italy (Monza);
– September 17 Gp Singapore (Singapore);

Two, then, the appointments on Italian soil, at Imola and Monza. The last confirmation of the calendar instead concerns the Las Vegas circuit, pending final homologation by the FIA.
