Third trophy in an Inter shirt for Hakan Calhanoglu, who after winning the Super Cup and Coppa Italia last year won his second Super Cup as a starter, on an important night for the Turk since he was able to raise the trophy in front of his former club, AC Milan.

Interviewed by ‘Sport Mediaset,’ Calhanoglu also used words that were anything but honeyed referring to his former fans, “I was bothered by some things I saw and heard during their celebrations for winning the Scudetto, I had a great desire for revenge. What did I think? In those moments I preferred to keep quiet. It was heavy for me to see things I did not expect. Karma comes back, always, though.”

“They were hungry and we sent them home quickly. We ate Milan and now they have to respect us. Now let’s focus on the league,” added the Turk, in his second season at Inter after arriving as a free agent in the summer of 2021.
