Both Cagliari and Reggina are looking for a defender who can shore up the backline of Claudio Ranieri and Filippo Inzaghi’s rosters. The Rossoblù, eighth, are separated from the amaranthos, second, by eight points of difference in the Serie B standings.
The island and Calabrian sides reportedly have their eyes on a Lecce defender who could be of great use to both clubs: it is 1990-year-old Alessandro Tuia. The former Salernitana and Benevento among others arrived in Salento in 2021 and, after playing a good part of last season’s matches despite a hamstring injury, he has failed to find space in Marco Baroni’s rotation after promotion, with only two appearances this year.
