Ilic, Torino raises bid: new summit with Verona
Garnets back at it and relaunches proposal
Torino have raised their bid for Ivan Ilic, the Hellas Verona midfielder who has long been in the Granata club’s sights. According to rumors reported by Tuttomercatoweb, Cairo’s club has decided to put 15 million euros plus bonuses and a percentage on the player’s future resale into the pot.
The proposal comes close to the €20 million request made by the Scaligeri but it is still not enough: the two clubs will meet in the coming days to try to find common ground. Toro is also in contact with the agents of the class of 2001: the agreement for the signing has yet to be reached, but confidence is growing.
