Olimpia Milano will face off against Asvel Villeurbanne

Olimpia Milano coach Ettore Messina spoke to the official channels of the meneghino club on the eve of the challenge, valid for the 20th day of the Euroleague, against Asvel Villeurbanne.

The Red Shoes currently occupy the penultimate position in the standings with six wins and thirteen losses, exactly ahead of the French who, despite having collected the same spoils, are last and close the ranking.

“We face a team that has just changed the point guard, but has a precise identity, built around players of great experience and personality, such as De Colo and Lighty, and the athleticism of the long players. We, without looking at the standings, have a duty to play the best game we can in front of our fans, trying to improve and to experience at levels of quality and continuity that we have shown in flashes so far. In terms of attitude and personality, I would like to see a team similar to the one that beat Tortona in the last round of the Italian championship,” Messina said as he introduced the challenge.
