Genoa’s management is continuing to make assessments in the market to deliver Gilardino the best squad to be able to aim for Serie A. The Rossoblù team currently occupies third place in Serie B, tied on points with Filippo Inzaghi’s Reggina and minus six from leading Frosinone.

To continue in the run-up to the ciociari, the Grifone is looking for new profiles for the side, with some names reportedly already surfacing.
