Sofia Goggia spoke after her fall in the second downhill in Cortina
No encore in the downhill for Sofia Goggia, who fell during Saturday’s race in Cortina d’Ampezzo: the skier from Bergamo made a mistake on the Scarpadon that sent her into the nets, fortunately unharmed.
Azzurra to the Rai microphones candidly admitted the mistake: “I really made a mistake. It was not an error of devolution or loss of lucidity, I made a mistake. I took an edge that unbalanced me in the air.”
No apprehension about her physical condition, she will be there for Sunday’s SuperG: “Fortunately nothing happened, I take hit after hit, but I’m there tomorrow.”
