Torino: Ilic close, and another name pops up for the midfield
Granata make strides for Verona midfielder
Torino are inching closer to Ivan Ilic, a Verona midfielder who has long been in the Granata club’s sights. After a market summit held on Friday, President Urbano Cairo said he was ready to invest 18 million euros for the former City player and Hien: the former would arrive immediately in January, while the defender would land under the Mole in July.
Meanwhile, an alternative is popping up in case the midfield coup is missed: Torino is reportedly inquiring about Udinese’s Jean-Victor Makengo, valued at 10 million euros by the Friulians.
