Probable formations

The nineteenth day of Serie A, the last of the first half of the season, opens on Saturday, January 21 at 3 p.m. with a match between Hellas Verona and Lecce.

The coach of the Scaligeri, Marco Zaffaroni, will try to give continuity at the level of play to a team capable, in the last three rounds, of drawing at home with Torino, winning the direct clash with Cremonese and losing, but by a narrow margin and without disfiguring at the level of play, against Inter. The main doubt, formation-wise, concerns the attack, given the possibility of a Kallon-Lasagna balancing act, with the latter slightly ahead.

Lecce, for its part, comes from six consecutive useful results in official matches, which have guaranteed Marco Baroni’s men a quiet position in the standings at the halfway point of the season. The 4-3-3 that put Milan in great difficulty is confirmed, with Colombo a point of reference in the center of the offensive sector.

Likely lineups.

VERONA (3-4-2-1): Montipò; Dawidowicz, Hien, Ceccherini; Depaoli, Tameze, Ilic, Doig; Lasagna, Lazovic; Djuric. All. Zaffaroni;

LECCE (4-3-3): Falcone; Gendrey, Baschirotto, Umtiti, Gallo; Blin, Hjulmand, Gonzalez; Strefezza, Colombo, Di Francesco. All. Baroni.
