Chelsea’s Champions League adventure continues as it beat Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in the return leg of the round of 16, reversing the 0-1 first leg.

In London, Potter’s team unlocked the match in the 43rd minute through Sterling. Early in the second half Havertz doubled the score on a penalty kick, first missed but made to repeat by Var and scored.

Qualification for the quarterfinals also for Benfica, which overwhelmed Bruges 5-1.

The match was never in dispute, with the Lusitanians taking the lead in the 38th minute thanks to Rafa Silva. In the second half the goleada signed Gonçalo Ramos (47′, 57′), Joao Mario (71′) and David Neres (77′). The Belgians’ flagship goal, scored in the 87th minute by Meijer, was useless.
