Fabio Di Giannantonio does not take to the track on Sunday
Fabio Di Giannantonio will not take to the track during Sunday’s “day-2” of MotoGp testing at the Algarve circuit in Portimao. This was confirmed by Team Gresini in a brief note released through its official channels.
“Fabio Di Giannantonio has been declared ‘unfit’ for the second day of testing in Portimao,” are the words of the Ducati satellite team. “The rider is well, but needs to rest in order to be 100 percent ahead of the first race of the season.
The 24-year-old, who crashed on Saturday during the first day of timed practice, had been taken to a nearby hospital for checks, which fortunately found no critical issues.
