Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi: delicate moment and gesture of great sensitivity by Ternana Women
Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi talks about her delicate moment and the nice gesture of Ternana Women
In a long post, soccer player Deborah Salvatori Rinaldi recounted her very delicate moment but also the great gesture of sensitivity by her home club, Ternana Women. “On Monday, February 20, I was at the park with my family. We were there for the carnival for my granddaughter. So many things changed that day. They called me that day and said ‘malignant,'” wrote the Abruzzo striker. “The next day I was in Terni to do the only thing I would be able to do until the operation. Play soccer and be with the team. That morning before training I spoke inside the locker room. I had started the year talking to the team by giving a speech about gratitude, and I finished the year by talking about the same thing, but this time the words were heavier. I was leaving the ship to run to my lifeboat. That morning, after training, Paolo Tagliavento and Isabella Cardone were in the locker room with the renewal in hand. Ternana that morning made me cry.”
“The operation went well. It will be a difficult period of very little effort, slowness, patience, headaches, radiotherapy, checkups and visits. For 31 years I drew my masterpiece but then a “monster” burned my canvas…it will never be the same, but with a good breathing, ups and downs, the people who love me and medicine, we will go and buy another canvas to start over,” added Deborah. To whom, of course, also goes the love of the Sportal.it editorial staff.
